Class setup: Gravity (recreational)
Our Gravity classes are organized by skill level and age. The first two levels teach the fundamental skills and develop the basics needed to excel at the higher levels in both Parkour and Ninja.
After Level 2, the athlete will decide if they want to focus more on Parkour or Ninja. Both skills will still be taught, but as the athletes progress into the higher levels, the emphasis will shift towards one of the two disciplines.
Which class to choose
At the end of each course, the athletes participate in a skill evaluation and are awarded a coloured band that reflects their skill level.
If you are new to Parkour Ninja 40 and signing up for your first class, please register for Gravity Level 1. Level 1 will teach the fundamental skills of the sport.
Returning athletes sign up for the skill level directly above the one they received their last coloured band for. Example: if the athlete received their yellow band for completing Level 3, they can sign up for Level 4 in the next session.
Competitive team
Once an athlete enters Level 3 and is at least 6 years old, they may be invited to join the competitive team. Please contact Bruce at bruce@pn40.ca if you are interested.
Athletes 6 – 8 years old can compete in Ninja Warrior; once they turn 9, they can also compete in Parkour. (Parkour competitions are not offered for younger athletes.)
At age 11, they can choose to focus on one discipline, or continue to participate in both Parkour and Ninja competitions.
